The kitchen backsplash tiles are in light brown shades and come with traditional designs. For the bottom kitchen cabinets, she has selected brown cabinets with profile handles that are easy to operate. Wooden finish vitrified tiles are used in flooring which matches the cabinets.

 

The cabinet framework and outer shutters are the main factors to consider for kitchen cabinetry. Marine Ply 710 grade was chosen for the inner framework as it doesn’t get damaged by water. Outer shutters are built-in MDF and laminated. There are other premium options like Acrylic and Back-painted glass for outer shutters.

 

As the Sleek kitchen Cochin was built on a limited budget, Ash has not included many accessories. Most of the bottom kitchen cabinets have racks for storing cooking pots and pans.

 

The Gas cylinder is stored inside a kitchen cabinet near the stove. Right beneath the Gas hob, three Tandem boxes are given. With a special sliding mechanism these Tandem boxes are used for storage purposes and even heavy vessels can be stored here. The first Tandem box has a branded cutlery tray. While selecting accessories it is always better to select branded accessories as they do not easily rust and get damaged.

 

A bottle pull-out cabinet is given next to the Tandem boxes for storing oil and other bottles. Rack cabinets are given next to the pull-out cabinet and the corner. Magic corner accessories can also be used in corner cabinets. The Tall unit in this Sleek Kitchen is also built with racks but Steel pull-outs can also be used in place of racks.

 

The whole Sleek Kitchen Cochin was built cost-effectively including only the most essential accessories. The inner framework is built without compromising on quality with premium materials. As the outer shutters were made with laminated MDF, the overall cost of the kitchen has come down.
